    Headphones not working on laptop

I'm wondering if someone could help. My headphones are appearing in my playback devices. I have highlighted "show disabled devices, show disconnected devices" and they still aren't appearing. I googled it and followed instructions to uninstall the realtek high definition audio and restarted my pc and it still isn't appearing.

Has anyone experienced this before. ? if so did you get it resolved ?

    :)
