Windows 10: Headphones stopped auto switching to and from speakers

Hello everyone.Ive had this problem for a while now and I have been in contact with Corsiar and they have reconmended that I come here to find a solution/ workaround.Ive had a set of Corsair Virtuoso SE wireless headphones for probably close to a year now and they were working great, everytime I switched them on they would be dectected by windows and they would switch automatically so I didnt have to do anyting, then while switching them off Windows would switch back to speakers.This all changed when I bought a Dark Core RGB Pro SE mouse.... On instalation of the mouse iCue prompted a firmwar

Playback Devices/Headphones and Speakers Auto Switching?

Is there a way to set speakers and headphones to switch back and forth automatically like Windows7 did? See also: plug my headphones in...headphones work. Unplug my headphones...speakers work...without having to right click the speaker and manually set what I'm using every time.

• Have you tried connecting your headphones directly to your desktop?
• Does your speaker work normally when connected to your desktop?

You may try the following steps to help resolve your concern:

• Unplug or Disconnect your speaker from the desktop.
• Connect your headphone directly to the desktop.

Sound Blaster Z auto switch from headphones to speakers?

Hey guys, I recently bought this Sound Blaster Z card.

I noticed when I unplug my headphones it does not automatically switch to the speakers!

AFAIK the only way to switch from my headphones to the speakers or vice versa is via the control panel.





Anyone know if there is an option to automatically switch between the headphones and speakers?
