Windows 10: Headphones stopped working after blue screen.

Hello,


After a sudden blue screen my headphones stopped working. This happens when I plug them in the audio jack. The headphones work on other laptops. Other headphones have the same problem on my laptop. When I plug them in through an USB to audio jack adapter they work. Speakers don't have problems.


I tried updating audio drivers, uninstalling the driver, disabling audio enhancements, restarting the computer, restoring computer to previous system restore point, running antivirus.

Headphone stops working randomly.

As per the description, the issue might be caused due to damage in the port. I suggest you to connect another headphone and check if the same issue persists. This is to check if the issue is with the hardware.
