Windows 10: Headphones with 7.1 Surround Sound Issue

Hello. I need help with my headphones and my computer regarding the audio issue.So, my Logitech G433 has a 7.1 Surround Sound support and it has software to use the feature.I have the driver installed for the headphones to function. However, when I test the surround sound through Logitech Gaming Software, only two channels left and right channel works and the other channels didn't work. Even I tested it on the Configure options on Sounds from Windows and the other channels aside from the left and right channels didn't work.I recently downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 7 because I have bee

1. What is the make and model of the computer and headphone?
   
2. Have you tried the same headphone on different computer?
   
3. Are you facing the same issue with the different headphone?
   
4. Which version of Windows is installed on your device?

Try the below suggested steps.

Method 1

1. Right click on Volume icon > Sounds >
   Playback.
   
2. Select Headphone > Properties > Advanced.
   
3. Uncheck “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device”.
   
4. Switch to Spatial sound tab > Uncheck “Turn on 7.1 virtual surround sound”.
   
5. Click on OK and check the status of the issue.

Headphone Sound Issue

This issue could be related to the drivers on your computer or there's a problem with the headphones itself. For us to effectively assist you, we would like to ask a few questions:

• Could you tell us when did the issue start?
• Are you referring to brand new headphones?
• Have you tried updating the sound card drivers on your computer by checking the latest driver that is available from the manufacturer's website?
• Have you tried all the troubleshooting steps provided in this article? If not, we advise that you try to perform
  the steps in the article and see if it helps.
  

Meanwhile, if you haven't tried downloading and installing the latest driver from the manufacturer's website, we suggest that you try it and check if you will experience the same issue.
