Windows 10: Headset disconnects with the slightest movement when wired or through a USB dongle....

Hi, I have Win 11. Both of my Jabra headsets 1 is Wired and the other is tri-mode disconnect when laptop shakes a bit when I'm typing. I'm on Google voice and headphones gets disconnected in a slightest movement when I'm on wire or using USB dongle. However, my tri-mode keyboard and mouse are fine They don't disconnect even when you shake the table where may laptop is on. It only happens on both of my headset. Headphone is fine when connected via bluetooth. I didn't have this issue until a 2-4 months ago. I already tried updating USB controllers and Audio in DEV MGR and disabled 'Allow this

USB dongle thingamajig

1) Try using the mouse right next to the USB dongle. If it doesn't do it, buy a male/female USB extension cable to move the USB dongle to a location that is right next to where the mouse would be used normally.
2) Try using a different USB port on the system.
3) Try using the mouse/USB dongle on a different system.
4) Replace the batteries with new--let it charge at least 12 hours before disconnecting it from the charger.
5) Verify the batteries are (type and voltage) what the manual says they should be.
6) Try a wired mouse with the system to see if the behavior is the same.
7) Try different surfaces (a book, newspaper, magazine, piece of paper, etc.).

 

Wired to wireless internet using dongles

Somewhere our phones do not have any data plan . That place has a desktop with internet connection . No wifi card builtin and since*It is an ALL in one computer we cannot install pci* wifi card. We can only have wifi adapter or dongles on a usb port.

How safe is to create a hotspot using a dongle . If i use vpn over wifi to connect to the company's network , is there any chance of vulnerability ?*

Also , keep in mind the wired internet is LAN based and the company is reluctant a bit that using dongle will expose the network to sniffers.

Can they hack through the adhoc network created by the dongle into my our LAN* ?*

Please provide suggestions.

USB headphones not working

Sounds very much like a headset problem. Do you have access to another headset to try out (borrow one from a friend, colleague, neighbor, relative...)? If the other headset works correctly, then you will probably have to replace the one you're currently using. You didn't by any chance happen to step on the headset, cables, or dongles recently, did you? I just had to replace an older Logitech wired headset because I stepped on the cable and twisted the USB connector enough to cause it to start shorting. It happens!
