Windows 10: Headset frequency stuck at 8000 Hz

When I connect my Bluetooth headset I have two possibilities for play sounds, hands free and stereo. Headset free is stucked at 8000Hz while stereo is free to change and I can get it at maximum frequency. The problem is that the handsfree has mic too, while stereo doesn't. So if I set handsfree I can use the mic but quality sucks, and if I set stereo the audio is clear but I can't use the mic. Anyone has the same problem? pic

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Nokia Pure View 808 Headset compatibility issues

I recently bought a headset from Philips (Citiscape Downtown SHL 5605BK to be exact) which says on it's box that it is compatible with all Nokia phones as a headset. However when I connect it to my Pure View 808 it says that it is not supported. What should
I do? How can I make my phone support my headset?



The specs of the headset are as listed:



Frequency range: 18-22000 Hz

Sensitivity: 102dB

Impedance: 32 Ohm

Driver: 40mm

 

Bluetooth Headset Forced to Telephone Quality

I recently obtained a Skullcandy Hesh2 Headset. After many attempts to connect it to my laptop (so many attempts.) I had finally gotten it working. My only issue now, is that it is being forced to play sound in "1 channel, 16 bit, 8000 Hz (TELEPHONE QUALITY,)
With a grayed out box, so I can not change it. Any fixes?
