Windows 10: Headset mic doesn't work on windows10 pc, works on windows 7

So my mic on g633 suddenly stopped working on my pc (windows 10), but it works on some old laptop (windows 7). Troubleshooted all sorts of stuff, even the privacy settings but it still won't work on my main pc. Already tried reinstalling LGS. Any help appreciated.

headset and/or internal mic not working

I can't get my headset to work in windows 7. the mic is acknowledged but doesn't work. I have uninstalled the audio drivers - rebooted and had them reinstall - both with the headset and mic plugged in and unplugged. The internal mic is not showing. So
I have neither the internal mic nor the external mic to work with.

 

Headset Mic Not Working

I really need some help.

I have a Cloud Stinger HyperX headset.

So the Microphone was working fine for many months then a few weeks ago it just stopped.

It does not show up on my list of Recording Devices anymore.

The only Mic I have is the one built in the computer.

I have tried multiple solutions and nothing works. Any suggestions?

 

Headset mic not working

I've had a turtlebeach headset that i used on my win 8.1 mic and headset working fine.

I upgraded to windows 10 and now it doesn't detect the mic, I've visited the recording devices tab, sound tab. It does not want to detect my mic, but it detects the headset. Please help.
