Headset Mic giving extremely loud static

Whenever I am on discord and I join a call or a voice channel, my mic instantly begins to give off an extremely loud static that will ruin your ears. This also happens in party chats in games such as Fortnite, it's fixed by unplugging my headphones and plugging them back in or enabling another mic and re-enabling my headset mic . But if I go to control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound and I go to my mics properties and chose Listen to this device. My microphone works as it is supposed to work every time I try it, so why is this happening?

    :)

  2. When I talk through my mic there is no voice but very loud static.

Whenever I talk through my headset there is no noise but when I click on listen to this device screeching noise that fills my microphone levels all the way up it is so loud that I can’t even bear to hear it for more than 1 second. I know it is not
my mic because I tested 3 different mics and this happens to each one and I tried with a 3.5mm and a usb and it’s the same thing. I tried connecting the pc at a different wall connector but it’s still the same please help. I even put my mic to 20db and volume
100 but there is still no voice coming out just static and this happens to all the 3 mics I have.

    Gaming mic and headset

I'm sick of using my mic which gives terrible feedback and loops the audio of the speakers, and also getting slapped for having the speakers up to loud trying to hear footsteps when playing cs *Laugh  So its time to get a headset w/ mic. So what headsets are durable and sound good? Ive broken about 4 headsets by dropping or standing on them but this time i will be more careful. So just find the cheapest of eBay? What ones do you all have?
