Windows 10: Headset mic only works briefly after driver installation, stops working after reboot

I have a headset Razer Kraken X Lite new that is working on other devices both mic and audio but on windows the mic is not woking, I checked and windows detect the microphone when I test if it is capturing sound, it is set as the selected device, but still does not work.


I have installed Nvidia drivers and with it it installed Nvidia High Definition Audio after that the mic started working, but as soon as I turned the PC off and turned on again it stopped working.


Any one had a similar problem and know a solution? most similar posts the suggestions are to verify Windows 10 configurations relative to the mic, but I already did that many times.

Headset Mic Not Working

I really need some help.

I have a Cloud Stinger HyperX headset.

So the Microphone was working fine for many months then a few weeks ago it just stopped.

It does not show up on my list of Recording Devices anymore.

The only Mic I have is the one built in the computer.

I have tried multiple solutions and nothing works. Any suggestions?

 

headset and/or internal mic not working

I can't get my headset to work in windows 7. the mic is acknowledged but doesn't work. I have uninstalled the audio drivers - rebooted and had them reinstall - both with the headset and mic plugged in and unplugged. The internal mic is not showing. So
I have neither the internal mic nor the external mic to work with.

 

Headset not working as both mic and headset

My headset stopped working on a single port as both headset and mic. It shows unplugged mic no matter what I do. I've tried over 1hr of advance things

- unplugged replugged

- restart computer

- uninstall drivers

- install new drivers

- realtek audio manager settings

Nothing works. This worked for a long time and it's not hardware related. I need a way to force windows 10 to act like it did before. Sending audio to my headset while grabbing audio from my mic on said headset

Please tell me windows 10 has a fix for this
