Windows 10: Headset microphone is not working. Help!

My headset's Logitech H390 microphone is not picking up sound but my laptop's built-in microphone works fine. Headset's speaker is also fine. People can't hear me whenever I do conference call on skype, messenger or joinme etc but I can hear them. I tried audio recorder but nothing's being recorded. Plugged it on a different PC and it's working. Tried a different headset USB type on my pc and I am getting the same problem.

What I did so far:

1. Made sure that mic access is allowed.

2. Made sure that Logitech H390 is the default recording and playback device.

3. Plugged it on all ports available on my laptop.

4. Updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, disabled and enabled audio driver.

5. Reset PC.

6. Advanced start up. It worked once but after turning off and turning on my pc again, mic is no longer working. Did method #6 again, sad to say, it did not resolve the issue anymore.

7. Launched audio troubleshooter but it can't detect any problem.

• Were you able to use the microphone of your headset before on your computer?
• If yes, can you try if the microphone of the headset would work on a different computer?
• Does the port for the jack on your computer is capable of supporting microphone?

Bluetooth Headset Microphones Don't work with Windows 10

I cannot get any bluetooth headset microphone to work with Windows 10. I have tried three different bluetooth headsets, most recently a Corsair Gaming H2100. I have no problem getting the audio output to work just fine with any of them, but I cannot get
it to recognize the microphone. I have followed all of the obvious steps:

• Uninstalled and reinstalled the newest version of the drivers
• Restart my computer
• Disable other microphones
• Set the headset as the default recording device
• Check the levels and set to 100
• Remove the device with the device manager and reinstall
• Unplug and plug back in my bluetooth antenna
• Make sure that Windows is totally updated

None of these steps has made any difference. I am able to get wired microphones to work, but this isn't ideal with my current set-up, as I sit about 10 feet away from my computer and use my 55" television as my monitor. So, I have a really nice webcam that
I use as a microphone. It is fine, but I would really like to be able to use a bluetooth headset sometimes and not have to talk loudly to a microphone across the room.

This issue could have happened due to settings of your Microphone. To resolve your issue, we suggest that you check your Microphone is not disabled and set as default. You can follow these steps to check your microphone settings:

• Right click on the volume icon and select “Recording devices”.
• Now, right click on an empty space and select, “Show disconnected devices” and “Show disabled devices”.
• Select “Microphone” and click on “Properties” and make sure that the microphone is enabled.
• You may also check if the microphone that you are using is set as default.
