    I've had my laptop for 6 months now and no matter what I do I can't seem to get my headset microphone working. The headset HyperX cloud ii wired headset itself functions fine, with the output coming through the headphones at an appropriate volume, but the microphone attached to it will not work, instead the laptop defaults to the inbuilt laptop microphone, which is terrible quality. The laptop is a Gigabyte G6 MF 2024 and this is the only issue I've encountered with it so far, and it seems to be completely unsolvable, no matter what solution I find on the internet.
