Windows 10: Headset not being connected

Hi, I need help.

My Acer Aspire E-15 is not registering my laptop as being connected. I have tried trouble-shooting, and there are no options on how to set it as my default output device, it doesn't even pop up.

My laptop only has one headphone jack, and sound through the headset is fine so I know that works. It does not come up as an option to select in my sound settings, and also says there is no jack information when I try to troubleshoot.

Is there anyway for me to manually make my laptop detect my Razer headset?? Nothing I have tried has worked so far.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
