Windows 10: Headset not playing sound after pausing videos/games

Hey,Bug started after some jury-rigging aux-soldering on a headset 4-wire headset to 3-wire sacrificial 3.5mm; left to left, right to right, power to ground, left mic wire unconnected but tapedProblem is simple:Starting a video with the headset plugged in; no soundStarting a video with headset unplugged, plug in the headset after & confirm headset was plugged in on realtek; sound!I pause video with headset connected youtube, twitch, etc., when i resume the video there is no sound. Only way to fix it is to unplug headphones again, then plug them back in. Ive tried drivers, troubleshoo

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Headset not playing sounds after mute and unmute

Before we proceed, I would like you to answer the following question:

  Did you connect your headset to any other device and check if the issue re-occurs?
  

I suggest you to set your headset as default and check.To do so, please follow the steps below:

• 
  Type sound in the search bar.
  
• 
  Right click on
  headset/microphone , click on default.
  

If issue persists,

As you said with other headset it is working fine,so,the issue might occur with your headset only.

In that case, I recommend you to contact the headset support.

VIDEO PAUSE PLAY AUTOMATICALLY

Video pause and play automatically only when I use an internal (Youtube, google) or 3rd party software (windows media player, VLC, films &TVs ).

It happens only when I am playing a video or audio.

it also happens when the window is minimized.

No virus (after scan)

issues in Windows 10

the window also very lag when it happening and sometimes cursor paused.

Driver issues? Which driver is it? Any suggestions or experiences? Please share your thoughts.
