    Headset not working. I get an error stating "USB device not recognized".


    I have a HyperX Cloud 2 headset and have for over 4 months. it was working fine the first 4 months but then one day randomly it stopped working. i would try unplugging it and putting it in a different USB port but it would still not work. It works fine just using the jack straight into the computer but I cant use the cable connected I have a wired headset. When I plug it in I get a crackling noise in the headset. I've tried updating the drivers but it says that i already have the latest drivers installed, I tried searching online but to no avail. I have included a screenshot that might help

    I am facing a problem. Even if I plug in my pen drive into my computer, then my computer is not reading it. I am getting the error message "USB device not recognized"?

    You may receive this error if one of your USB connected devices is not properly recognized by the system. Let's try the troubleshooting steps provided by

    In addition, we suggest that you turn off the notifications from the USB by following these steps:

    • Open Settings by typing "settings" in Cortana's search box.
    • Click on Devices.
    • Locate USB and toggle the switch to Off.
