Windows 10: Headset Poly BT700 and Teams is not working properly

With the latest update on Teams, when I join a meeting in Teams the audio is muted. I need to click in unmute and the people can hear me but I am not able to hear anything. My workaround is to disable the headset on windows10, enable it, disable, enable it and then test the sound, and this way it works again.

Microphone setup not working

i have a poly headset bt700 and it plays audio on the pc just fine, but the microphone is not detecting or working in teams and other programs.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled driver

i have looked for updates and rebooted

i have tried all the different properties to modify the microphone and it says the wizard cannot run

the programs are allowed to use the microphone.

1. Check the audio settings: Right-click on the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings". Under "Choose your output device", make sure your headset is selected as the default device.



2. Update the audio driver: Go to the HP support website and download the latest audio driver for your Elitebook 830 G9. Install the driver and restart your computer.



3. Uninstall and reinstall the Poly Lens software: Go to "Apps & features" in Windows Settings and uninstall the Poly Lens software. Then, download and install the latest version from the Poly website.



4. Reset the headset: Press and hold the mute button on the headset for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red and green. Then, repair the headset with the base.

Windows 11/ Problems with my audio headset connection (Poly Savi 7300 Office)

I have this exact same issue. The headset is clearly connected and shows in both the poly app and device manager, but window sound settings claim I have no audio devices, not even speakers, as soon as I plug in the poly headset. Same model you have.
