Windows 10: Headset port 3.5mm jack stops working on Latitude 3520

There is an issue which is since long time; the laptop audio port is not recognized. I have to reinstall does a cleanup and install the audio driver Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_HH5CD_WIN_6.0.9511.1_A78_01 for the port to work properly. The next day it stops working again and the headset option is not available.I get a headset output option too when I reinstall the driver and plug in my headset.

Computer's Audio Jacks Stopped Working

The audio jacks stopped working and it is not a hardware problem.

1. Multiple headsets do not get audio output from both of the audio jacks on the computer and the headsets are confirmed to be working, so it's the computer's problem.
2. The audio output through a DisplayPort monitor's audio jack and monitors' speakers still work, so the computer can still produce audio. The monitor's audio jack is not an option.
3. Both audio jacks stopped working at the same time despite only one being in use, so it's not hardware.

What is the problem and what is the solution?

  What is the make and model of the stereo headset?
  

If you are using a single jacked headset with an integrated microphone, please be informed that this headset won’t work in computers as the headset should have a dual jack for speaker and microphone to work in the Computer.
