Windows 10: Hearing a crackling noise when opening programs or playing audio on my laptop

A few days ago I attempted to play a YouTube video and when I hit play I heard an awful crackling sound play through my headphones. I ignored it at first but when I attempted to reply another portion of the video, the same noise played again. One weird thing I noticed is that at one point I closed and reopened Firefox and the same crackling sound played again, even though I was not attempting to play any audio.As soon as I noticed this problem, I began searching the internet to find solutions to this problem. Audio from laptop speaker crackles

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop that starting making crackling noises in it's built in speakers last week. It makes the noise when playing any kind of sound. I ran the audio troubleshooter and nothing was found. I rolled back a display
driver update I got a few days before hand but it was still making the noise. I then uninstalled the audio driver and restarted my laptop. When it came back on, the driver came back by itself and it stopped making the crackling noises. But tonight it started
doing it again. I ran the troubleshooter again and it suggested turning off audio enhancements but nothing is checkmarked except "immediate mode". I removed the checkmark but the sound is still crackling.

 

Poor Bluetooth Audio Quality. Hear crackling noise. Works perfectly fine when connected to phone

Recently purchased a Mi Bluetooth Speaker. It works perfectly fine when connected to my phone. The audio is also very clear.

However when connected to my Windows 10 laptop, the audio quality is poor. I can hear crackling noise in while an audio is being played.

Tried all the below solutions provided in the Ms Community, but those didnt help. I am still facing the issue.

• Unchecked Handsfree under Services in bluetooth device properties.
• Uninstalled and reinstalled Device driver
