  1. Heavy CPU usage for "Home" view of Windows Explorer File Explorer

Very recently, Windows Explorer File Explorer, uses a massive amount of CPU when I view the "Home" view. Without fail. It's gotten to the point that I've changed the default view that loads when I run Windows Explorer to "This PC" How to change the default start page in File Explorer on Windows 11 xda-developers.com. That doesn't seem to make the CPU go crazy, but anytime I click "Home" from the left navigation menu or otherwise, the CPU spins up and starts to go wild.Windows 11 23H2 22631.2715.Here's a screenshot of basically nothing happening while not on the "Home" view:And her

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
