Windows 10: HEIC images from IPhone

Discus and support HEIC images from IPhone in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I installed the HEIF-extension but still i can´t open imagefiles from my IPhone with the .HEIC extention.     I installed the HEIF-extension but still i can´t open imagefiles from my IPhone with the .HEIC extention. Can´t see how to uninstall for reinstallation.

    Is there sombody who can help?

    If you want to keep using HEIC on your iPhone (and there seems to be good reason to do that), you'll need some third-party utility. I don't know which of them have ads and which don't. However,

    We need more information about your concern. Are you trying to convert and open other image format to HEIC? If yes, a certain program will be needed to open that kind of file, we suggest checking the Windows Store for programs that can convert other image
    format to HEIC. Make sure to download the program with the highest rating and good reviews.

    Hello,

    I am wondering if any of you have a tool you could recommend to convert HEIC image files to jpg. I would like to be able to keep the original HEIC file just in case. I've got a bunch of image files that got transferred from iPhone to flash drive to Windows 10 pc, and I didn't know that they were in HEIC format. I've installed the codec on the laptop so I can open the files, but I would like to have the option to convert to jpg in case I want to share them in that format.

    The Microsoft store has a few, but I'm just not sure which one to go with. I don't mind paying a bit for it if it's safe and reliable.
