Windows 10: Hello, are you aware that Inkscape coders have no clue how to code windows 10 or 11...

Unfortunately, the window's coding team will have to code and submit a code to Inkscape.orgIt is open source.But you will have to optimize the program to run properly on Windows 10 and 11 and future Windows versions.you will continue to get reports about it's freezing and crashing.The program's code is very poorly optimized. so it often freezes lags or refuses to function properly.overloads CPU's And uses all the RAM But never dumps to reduce Ram useeven when you go thru their forums and talk to their developers all they do is blame the user's tech or settings.so it is very clear that they d

Inkscape Issues

After installing Inkscape I am not able to edit Inkscape Preferences. My Operating system is windows 10 ( english). However the Inkscape interface is always in spanish. I would appreciate very much any help.

 

Fonts problem with Inkscape

Hello all. I've recently been having an issue with fonts lately.

There is a program called Inkscape, which is a free vector graphics editor, and so I tend to use it very often. When I attempt to create text, problems arise. I use one font, then switch to another one, when a Windows dialogue box
opens up - It says: something like:

          Windows Application Error          The instruction 00x00000eee referenced memory at

And the rest of the text is blank, same with buttons. I press a button, and all text everywhere in Inkscape turns to rectangles, even dialogue boxes. I exit Inkscape, only to find that all my Desktop icon's names have been blacked
 out -  you can see the silhouette of the letters, and so you can make out the name, but that's it. No text displayed in other Windows dialogues, Task Manager, etc.

I have asked my father about this - he says it may be a display driver issue, which is triggered by Inkscape accessing the/a font cache.

Can you all please help me?

We'd like to know more about your issue. Please answer the following questions below:

• Which build and version of Windows 10 are you running? You can find this information by clicking the Start button, type
  winver, and then press
  Enter. Currently, the latest build and version of Windows 10 is version 1803 (OS build 17134.254).
  
• Is the issue isolated only to the Inkscape app?
• Have you tried to sign out and then sign back in with your Microsoft account in the Store?

In the mean time, I suggest that you try to runthe troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps.
Select the Start button >
Settings > Update & Security
> Troubleshoot > Windows Store Apps.



If the issue still persists, I recommend that you reset Windows Store cache. Please follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows+R key to open Run box.
2. Enter wsreset.exe in the Run command and click OK.
3. Restart your PC.
