    hello, can someone help me? reinstalling Windows from the bios with the name of the old one...


    when I install Windows from Bios I can't remove the old name so I can choose another one, does anyone know why? it gives me the name of the old one I had. setup appears, after that it doesn't ask me to enter my username user when I do the installation from Bios.

    Windows cannot be installed from BIOS, it can be installed from a bootable USB or using the Windows reset option.

    Please provide the exact steps you are using to re-install Windows

    What name do you need to change, is that your user name

    If you are using the built in Reset option to re-install Windows, what options do you choose when you select that?

    Are you trying to remove yourself completely from that PC and set up a new suer?
