Windows 10: Hello everyone, I saw a question on here where a person had a simular situation to mine so...

When I go to play games, whether it be on steam or xbox application, they crash, whether it be a good day and i go 2 hours without a crash, or 2 mins and it crashes. Sometimes, most of the times not, theres a crash log but again most time theres not, they just stop and close. Its been really frustrating and this is my call for help.

you will never know, but i will say i got my 6600 from newegg and it was G0 stepping.

Depending on your setup a 6600 will hit in the mid 3GHz range. Mine runs stable at 3.4Ghz. Yea it will hit 3Ghz without a problem at all, however i would suggest somewhere around 3.2 as a safeguard against gpu bottlenecking.

If you are going to go higher than 2.8Ghz i would suggest an aftermarket cooler. Quads run very hot.

Oh a G0 stepping will say SLARK on it I lapped mine so i can't rememebr the correct spelling.

 

PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

Aren't we being a little harsh? I know I can't be the only other person on this forum to have skipped checking the official memory compatibility list when building a computer. Had I been in the same situation and followed the same steps I would have thought I got a bum board too, regardless of whether or not the memory was on that list.
