Windows 10: Hello Face ID pop-up window opens behind browser window

A couple of weeks ago, the Hello Face ID face recognition pop-up window suddenly started opening behind my browser window. Prior, it would open on top of the browser window. Details -In my browser, I am prompted for a login username. Clicking in that field brings up the "Saved passwords" pop-up. I select the desired username I want to log in with, which opens the Windows Security Face ID pop-up. But it opens behind my browser window, so I have to click on it in the taskbar, otherwise it won't complete the face recognition process. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Hello Face ID not working

I understand that you’re facing issues with Windows Hello Face ID after installing Windows Updates. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the

I would like to know the error code you receive when trying to login using Windows Hello Face ID.



Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try re-installing the Camera drivers on your PC and see if that helps. Refer the article
