Hi Elda,

If the boot sequence didn't work, then we suggest try running the laptop in safe mode. To do this, here's a few steps to follow:

• Power down your laptop.
• Turn it back on again.
• When you turn it back on, press F8 repeatedly until the power on option appeared.
  
• If you see the boot option "Safe Mode with Networking", choose that option.
• See if you can boot up in Safe mode.

dual 580 or tri 570?

Hello guys.
Am about to buy a new gpu and am not sure if i should go for 580 or 570. Firstly ill get 1 gpu and upgrade later on. The thing is 580 is quite expensive. And if i ever want to get tri 580 ill have to upgrade my 1000watt coolermaster psu to get 3 of them. But for tri 570 that would be possible right?
My res is 1920x1080.
What do you suggest would be better?

 

Can't upgrade laptop to Windows 10

Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried Windows Defender and discovered it was not turned on and when I tried to turn it on it would quickly turn itself off again. I used another anti-virus program to check out the laptop but it found no problem. Obviously this laptop has some problems.

My next step is to put the original drive back into the machine and try the Windows 10 upgrade from that and if that also fails do a restore of this laptop to the original Windows 7.
