Windows Hello Face Sign In Option Unavailable

I appreciate the efforts taken by you in resolving the issue. I understand that you are unable to use Windows Hello Face and PIN on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  

• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  

You may want to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:



Reset Windows Hello Biometric Database:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open Run dialog box.
   
2. Type services.msc and click on OK.
   
3. Look for Windows Biometric Service, double click on it and click on Stop.
   
4. Now, go to C:\Windows\System32\WinBioDatabase, take a backup of all the files inside the WinBioDatabase folder.
   
5. After taking a backup of the files, delete all the files.
   
6. Now, open Services by following step 1 and 2, and restart the Windows Biometric Service.
   
7. Go to Start >> Settings >> Accounts >> Sign-in options and register the Face data again.

Windows 10 Hello Missing from signing options

It is obvious you did not read my question, because all those things were listed in my question. I have found the answer for all those who have the surface pro 3 and surface pro 4 keyboard with fingerprint reader. If you can not see the windows hello setup
in the sign in option, do the following and it will work every time:

Here are the steps that might fix our current problem regarding the windows Hello:

• Press and hold (or right-click) the Start button, and select Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• Stop the biometric service by typing net stop wbiosrvc.
• Delete the fingerprint template database (assuming C:\ is your system drive) by typing
  del C:\windows\system32\WinBioDatabase\DB192749-088D-2130-13F0-E6129F1E2BEA.DAT.
  
• Go to Start, and select Settings > Accounts >
  Sign-in options, and under Windows Hello, select
  Set Up > Get Started to re-enroll your fingerprint.

If does not appear after this time setup up a pin sign in and then windows hello will appear.

• Click the Start button and select the Settings
  icon.
• Choose Accounts from the list.
• Select Sign-in options in the left pane of the window.
• Under Windows Hello, kindly check the status of it.
