Hello,I just bought Oblivion remastered from Steam, but it won't launch. It comes up with this "Directx 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."My laptop is a "VivoBook_ASUSLaptop K3502ZA_K3502ZA" "12th Gen IntelR CoreTM i512500H 16CPUs" and the graphics card is "IntelR IrisR Xe Graphics" and Dxdiag says I have Directx 12, but that Directx 12 ultimate is disabled. I updated my graphics card and other drivers through Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and Intel graphics software, and nothing changed. I also tried to downloa

I have DirectX 12, but application requires DirectX 11

Hello.

I do have directX, but just not 11, i have 12. My question is why I cant run a directX 11 app with directX 12. The link sent was a link to the directX installation. Please read the question before posting the answer.

Hello, I want to ask what's happening with DirectX 12 and which GPUs will have full support because I was thinking of buying a GTX 770 but this DirectX 12 think is stopping me to buy a GPU from 700 series and spend more to GTX 960 which is more expensive but also slower in my country. So what are your suggestions guys?

Try the following steps and check if it helps:

Step 1:

I suggest you to check the DirectX Version installed on your system.

Follow the below steps to check the DirectX Version:

• Press Windows key + R from the Desktop.
• Type dxdiag and hit Enter.
• Check the DirectX Version.

Step 2:

I suggest you to update the Graphic driver from the Device Manager and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R on the Keyboard.
• Type in devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• Select Graphic driver from the list.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then install the latest graphic driver from the manufacturer and check if it helps.
