Windows 10: hello, i bought a dell g15 with 16gb of RAM . Not even a month light using it and i notice...

16GB RAM only 8GB usable on Windows 10 x64

have 16GB of RAM installed on my computer, but only 8GB is usable. I am running Windows 10 x64. I have tried the following steps to fix this issue, but they have not worked:

1. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.
   
2. I have tried reseating the RAM modules.
   
3. I have tried using different RAM modules.
   
4. I have tried run-MSConfig
   

I am still not able to use all 16GB of RAM. Any suggestions?

Windows 11 new dell g15 5530 laptop doesnt function. 16GB Ram nvidia 4060 hanging on basic.This windows 11 is outright trash. No help from microsoft its a supposed downgrade from Windows 10.

If you type msinfo32.exe in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, when it is launched, how much RAM can you see listed? If it is not listed 16GB. you definitely want to contact whoever you bought it from and verify what's going on.
