I suggest you try to login using the onscreen keyboard and enter your credential carefully and check if that helps. Follow the below steps to use on screen keyboard.

1. Select the Ease of Access
   button in the lower-right corner of the sign-in screen.
   
2. Select On-Screen Keyboard.

MS Office 2021 Pro Plus won't transfer

I bought 3 different copies of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021 from a seller on eBay for my wife's 3 computers; her desktop, her laptop (personal) and her business laptop. They all installed and activated fine, no issues. Then we bought her a new HP laptop and used a cloned NVMe hard drive and all was well until she tried to use one of the Office products on her new laptop. The information from her old laptop, (files and some folders) was transferred to the new laptop named pamsparadise2 (her old laptop was named pamsparadise). When she opened one of the MS Programs, Word, she gets an activation pop up first thing. She entered the key from the USB install package that we used for her OLD laptop, pamsparadise for the new laptop. It rejected the key, and we went through this transfer screen that you could choice which computer you wanted to use Office Professional 2021 on, and we chose use it on this computer from pamsparadise (her old laptop), and it did not transfer.

Talked to Microsoft about getting it transferred over. They said the key is a MSDN key and is good for one computer only, (which we knew) and it could not be transferred since it was a MSDN key and not a retail key.

On eBay where we got these USB install products, they are listed a retail versions. And they did install and activate on each computer we intalled it on.

Why won't a MSDN key transfer from one computer to another?

Did we get taken? Are we out all the money for buying "bogus" software and keys?
Are they counterfeit keys, and if so is the seller liable for selling "Retail" products and shipping over state lines, as in fraud?

We are pretty upset over this. We do NOT want Office 365 where we have to keep buying a subscription every year (or month). Before we used MS Office 2003, and it was a fairly good products that gave you use of Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Publisher and all that.

 

transfer files between computers on a home network

I don't know why this is so hard to do but I would like to transfer files between a desktop PC running windows 10 pro and a laptop running windows 10 home. I would like to transfer files in both directions. Both computers are on the same home network and are connected wirelessly.

Could some one provide either specific step by step instructions on how to do this (I googled and found a countless list of instructions that don't work)

or a link to a reference.

I don't know if this is possible but it would be nice to see the computer sending the desired file in the explorer file manager of the computer receiving the desired file and then under the computer see a list
of shared files and folders.

Again, this seems like such a reasonable way of sharing files and folders. Shouldn't there be a simple way to do this?
