Windows 10: hello i have a hp laptop and its refresh rate changes when i connect it to power supply it...

I tried with my normal settings and it did not work i am not sure how to do it and i cannot find intel in my control panel

Laptop Refresh rate

Judging from the HP site and reviews I Googled, that the specs are very basic on the screen beyond listing it as an IPS. I would assume as such that 60Hz is the refresh rate of that screen, any higher and you'd see advertising about it in the software, on the box, maybe even a sticker on the laptop itself, on top of reviews and HP's own speck sheet for that laptop.

I would recommend you contact HP Support as they should be able to provide you with the correct answer. *Toast :toast:

Based on your feedback, you are experiencing an issue where the monitor turns on when plugged in, the laptop shuts down, and the refresh rate automatically changes.

You can check if you have the high-performance mode turned on.

You can go to Control Panel > Power Settings.

You can see if there is a setting to enable high-performance mode when the power is connected.

If it is turned on, you can turn it off for a moment.

Then see if your problem is resolved.

Asus laptop monitor Black out after connecting to power supply - Refresh Rate issue

Hello everyone,

I have a Asus ROG Strix G513 2022 (AMD R7 4800H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050)

It has an issue on auto change of refresh rate whenever i plug the laptop with a power adapter. The laptop monitor screen will become black out, and I somehow cannot disable the function of auto refresh rate change. I researched online and could disable variable refresh rate from WIndows 11, AMD chipset software and Asus Armoury Crate. Yet the problem remains.

After unplugging power adapter, refresh rate automatically dropped to 60hz. Notebook screen returns





I disabled anything related to auto refresh rate or dispay in AMD, WIndows 11 and even at Asus Armoury Crate, but they cannot solve the issue.
