Windows 10: Hello, I have a virus problem

I noticed some strange clicking and key presses when I wouldn't touch my laptop. Come to find out after looking up the program/s in question, I have some malware called a 'ADESv2BW' and another called 'ADESv2vc'. I want to remove them but I don't know how.I found out recently what the farbar recovery scan tool is, though I'm not sure how to parse the text to fix my problem. Copilot has been helpful but it isn't explaining what I need to do with the malware, as well as what to add on the "Fixlist.txt".I'll share whatever information I need about the problem. Thanks for the help in advance.

How can I remove this virus remnant?

I was also going to suggest Autoruns.

Check to make sure it isn't attaching itself to explorer. It should be the 3rd thing listed in Autoruns, the listing for the Shell. It should just be Explorer.exe. If it is anything else, that might be your problem.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

My virus & threat protection is not showing

I am writing to seek assistance with a problem related to Windows Virus and Threat Protection on my PC. Unfortunately, the feature has become invisible, and I am unable to access it.

Issue Details:

• Operating System: Windows 11
  
• Problem: Windows Security (Virus and Threat Protection) is not visible.
  

Steps Taken: I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restarted my PC.
   
2. Checked Group Policy settings.
   
3. Reset Windows Security app.
   
4. Ran SFC and DISM commands.
   

However, the issue persists. I kindly request your guidance on resolving this matter. Could you please provide instructions or further steps to restore Windows Virus and Threat Protection?
