Windows 10: hello, i have been facing this problem since months now, anything I try to type on the...

any dialogue box that appear doesn't stay for longer than 1 second and my task bar doesn't respond sometimes and apps tend to open for a flash second and then close??? I tried windows update, my hardware drive is also good and troubleshoot also looks fine. can anyone help me out??os name- Microsoft Windows 10

Windows Hello Hello Face not working for the past month

I had an update this morning form Mixcrosoft.

After the update. I was able to view my image of myself in the application. I got further than before.

Restarted still did not work with Windows Hello face.

The HP IR Camera icon is still not visible in Device Viewer.

I did not run your suggested scan above. I am a bit leery of what it may do.

Is this system file checker pretty benign? or Am i getting myself in too deep. I do not want to spend hours chasing this thing down.

This is a primary machine for all I do

Probably need to have a good back up, not sure how I want to do that easliy

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that checks for problems with files on your computer. To run it, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you've installed the latest updates for Windows, and then restart your machine. To find out more, read Update Windows.
   
2. In the search box on the taskbar, type Command Prompt, and right-click or press and hold Command Prompt (Desktop app) from the list of results. Select Run as administrator, and then select Yes.
   
3. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (note the space before each "/"), and then press Enter. (Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete.)
   
4. After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully," type sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter.
   
5. After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit.

• Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• Click Start and type Troubleshooting and press
  Enter.
• Click on View all in the top left corner.
• This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in the computer. You can click on the
  Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.
