I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. That would only turn on or off to play the startup sound.

Just to verify, did you use the method in the tutorial below to change the startup sound to a custom sound you wanted? It's the same method for Windows 11.
