Windows 10: Hello! I was just wondering if it is normal if I can see my ethernet connection twice.

Basically when I opened my ethernet setting today noticed something odd. In the status option , I can only see my "Ethernet" under the status. It also shows me the data used in the last 30 days and the (in my case 11.69 GB) but the odd thing was that right under it was the same "Ethernet " with the same GB and everything.When I restated my PC the second "Ethernet "was gone. Is this some sort of bug or something or is something wrong with my PC?My PC has been on ethernet connections since day one. First time having a problem like this with my PC.

My reliable ethernet connection no longer works

Hi Marcia,

To better understand the query, please answer the following questions:

• After restarting is your computer in normal mode or not?
• Are you getting any error message?

I suggest you to reset the modem\ router and check if the Ethernet connection works or not.

If still the issue persist then I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article

How to delete an ethernet connection?

Just as title says. I have some old ethernet connections in my list, and I would like to delete it to clean.

Cannot connect using an Ethernet

Hello

I'm trying to connect to my internet through an Ethernet and it doesn't seem to want to connect.

I have listed my ipconfig if this is useful. Anything else just let me know.
Windows Version is 1903.
