  1. Hello I'm having a lil' issue if you can help me that'd be great


    So after dual booting windows 10 with linux mint 20 cinnamon, everything works perfectly. Except one thing, when I try to connect to my wireless network it asks me for a network security key, which I don't know and I can't access the router settings page through google, I was thinking if resetting the pc would help me or there's another solution to this. And the timezone was also messed up when I turned on windows after the dual boot but I fixed it and still it asks for a network security key. Also if resetting windows is the only option will it affect the dual boot?

    @romiroma: Welcome to discussions. Here's a couple of suggestions which will help the members here respond to your problem.



    • Tell us what handset you're using. Its a good idea to state the handset name in the post subject line, as its more likely to attract assistance from those with expeirence/knowledge of the model.
    • State the problem in the subject: Again, this will help you attract experts who can identify exactly what topic you need help with without having to read the post to get an idea first.
    In regards to your specific issue, here's a couple of things you need to consider:

    • Is it a genuine cable, or one from another device or purchased after market? Have you tested the cable with any other equipment to isolate if its an issue between your handset and PC, or if the cable itself is at fault?
    • Have you installed the latest edition of data suite or the Ovi Suite beta? Has your machine installed the correct communications drivers, and has it previously detected and successfully connected to your phone?
    • Have you tried bluetooth communication from your PC (if available) to see if a successful connection can be initiated this way?
    • Have you checked to see if Ovi Suite beta or the Data Suite version you are using is compatiable with Windows 7? If not, have you tried running the applications in Windows Vista compatability mode to see if this resolves the issue?

    I'm having a RAM issue [Help]

    Your next step is to try each stick individually to isolate the bad stick.
    One or both will be bad.
    Corsair has great warranty coverage, use a snapshot to document the error for them.
    I assume you are running stock speeds, so not an OC issue.

    You should replace as soon as possible as you can corrupt hard drive data if you continue to use the bad ram.

    If one stick is good, use that alone, until replacement time.

    2. Do you have access to another administrator account on your computer?
    3. Have you recently updated or upgraded your pc?

    I suggest you try to login using the onscreen keyboard and enter your credential carefully and check if that helps. Follow the below steps to use on screen keyboard.

    1. Select the Ease of Access
      button in the lower-right corner of the sign-in screen.
    2. Select On-Screen Keyboard.
