Capital J will not print

More complicated than that. Window 10, but the problem started two days ago.

"j" displays normally with touch of the "j" key.

Shift + j displays nothing. Not even a white space. Simply nothing happens.

Toggle the "caps lock", press the "j" key and "J" displays as expected.

With "caps lock" on, shift + j displays nothing.

Keyboard mapping problem? How would I fix this?

Hi J,

This issue is caused due to program compatibility.

You can try to launch the programs using the compatibility mode and check if it helps:

To launch a program using compatibility, refer to the below link:

• Right click the short cut of the program and select properties.
• Now select compatibility tab and select an earlier operating system, with which the program was working fine.
• Now click apply and select ok.
• Now launch the program and check if it helps.
