Windows 10: Hello! My computer keeps doing BSOD after it attempts to install a driver

I have a regular gaming PC and its nothing special but recently an update called "Intel driver update for IntelR Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265" will try and automatically install which instantly cause my computer to blue screen over and over again until it forces itself into recovery mode. It eventually go to the point where I had to reinstall windows 11 Just to fix the issue however the update is still there, its just not being installed yet. The blue screen stop code reads: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXEPTION_NOT_HANDLEDand what failed is: ndis.sys I really dont know how to fix this and i feel like it has

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

1. Install latest official nVidia driver of your choosing.
2. Install HyperSLI
3. Install second card and let Windows install the driver for it automatically.
4. Enable SLI


Do a reboot of your computer after each step on the list above.
