Hello. My laptop has a built in OEM_DM windows. And I have the product key. If I reinstall windows 10 in this laptop will this product key work?

Activate OEM_DM laptop using retail disk

hi... my laptop come with Win 10 Pro OEM_DM which is digital license. hdd now spoilt. i buy new SSD but don't have OEM disk to reinstall. i download Windows 10 ISO from MS website, after clean install on SSD, check it is Windows 10 Pro Retail. my question, is that legal to activate the retail installation to OEM_DM laptop? and yes, the activation is successfull, i just want to know if that is legal? tq

Since the laptop has no battery compartment wherein the product key is usually located, we recommend that you follow these steps to find your Windows product key:

• Press Windows + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Enter this command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
  and hit Enter.

My laptop had a licensed windows 10 home but due to some reason i shifted to a pirated windows 10 pro through a product key i got from a youtube video.

Now i have reinstalled my windows 10 home. But i wanted to ask after reinstallation do i have to activate my licensed windows 10 home product key and if yes please guide me with a step by step process.
