Windows 10: Hello! My name is Adam and I have a problem in the device boot sorry my English is not good

I have installed Linux mint, then I decided to delete it from right click my PC then manage then storage Note: I used to make a partition for the Linux mint. Then I deleted the partition it's now a free space then I restarted my PC then the screen says "Attempting boot from Hard disk error no such device grub rescue: " Then I don't know what to do and I don't want to lose my PC files. Note: my PC is HP. I need help

Default Boot Device Missing fix?

The error messages you are seeing suggest that the laptop is unable to find a bootable device, which could be due to a misconfiguration in the BIOS/UEFI or a hardware issue with the storage device.

Turn off your laptop completely.

Press the power button to turn on the laptop.

Immediately start pressing the F2 key repeatedly to enter the BIOS setup.

Once you are in the BIOS/UEFI settings:

-Check the boot order to ensure that the internal hard drive or SSD is listed as the first boot device.

-Look for any settings related to storage or SATA configuration and make sure they are set correctly.

-If you see an option to load default settings (often F9), you might want to try that to reset the BIOS settings to their defaults, which can sometimes resolve boot issues.

If the storage device is not listed or if these steps do not resolve the issue, the storage device may have failed or become disconnected. In this case, you may need to contact Lenovo support or consider returning the laptop for service.

 

windows Hello states it isn't available on this device

Hi Tom,

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if you are able to access Windows Hello.

Step 1: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
• Click Next to run the
  Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the bio-metric finger print reader from Device Manager and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.
• Right click on Bio-metric finger print reader, click on
  Properties.
• Go to Drivers tab, click on Update driver software.

Step 3: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Simultaneous spell checking in both French and English in Windows 10

To enable multiple language correction in Windows, follow these steps.

-Open Settings > Devices > Typing

-Make sure you activate the following buttons

Show text suggestions as I type

Autocorrect misspelt words I type

Multilingual text suggestions

Then check > Suggestions & autocorrections then make sure both languages are activated





For Google Chrome:

Just click on setting > Advanced

On the right pan, check French and English.

If you are missing French, click on "language" above and add a language.
