That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Shut Down Takes ~5 seconds, Restart Takes ~30 seconds

Hearsepilot, no that has nothing to do with it... but omg noooo! I figured out half the problem! Cross my fingers I really hope I can turn Hibernate back on!!! I turned off Hibernate using an Admin Command Prompt: powercfg -h off and then I went to Start -> Restart ... and ooof! Less than 3 seconds did I see the Restarting screen with the spinning dots!! Oh! I really hope I can turn on Hibernate!!! I use it sometimes!!! Why is the "Restart" command looking at the Hibernate file? I should do some research on that. Cross my fingers. Let's hope I can turn Hibernate on again with no issue. - - - Updated - - - Posting back... I figured out the issue. First of all, I have no clue how any of this makes ANY logical sense at all... So I use OldNewExplorer. Yet in that application, you can:
Hello my pc is restarting every 5 seconds 383713d1674083128t-shut-down-takes-5-seconds-restart-takes-30-seconds-image.png
Yet I like my windows to show as simple as possible. So I found a way to disable both the command bar and the ribbon. This is what that looks like, which I love so much:
Hello my pc is restarting every 5 seconds 383714d1674083252t-shut-down-takes-5-seconds-restart-takes-30-seconds-image.png
SO very nice and simple, AND I renamed the thing up there to say: Storage Drives All of this was with the help at this link: How to remove the ribbon and command bar in Windows 10 - Super User Yet when I added this line: "<Element padding="rect(0rp,0rp,0rp,-44rp)"/>" to the dll files for OldNewExplorer, somehow in someway, causes Windows' Restart command to look at the hiberfil.sys and the pagefile.sys (they get modified to the exact time that I restart the computer), yet Shutting Down the computer does not interfere at all. Can anybody make any sense out of this??? (I currently disabled Hibernate, and disabled the Page File), so I can look at the "Restarting" screen for only 3 seconds instead of 1 minute & 54 seconds. and a quick question: Does anyone know if this applies to Windows 10: Disable File Explorer Command Bar on Windows 11 in Just Three Steps [How To]

Hello my pc is restarting every 5 seconds

Shut Down Takes ~5 seconds, Restart Takes ~30 seconds

I appreciate your reply Ghot, but the startup from BIOS screen to Desktop is not the issue. I already have my startup list all configured well. Takes about 35 seconds from BIOS screen to idle Desktop. You may have accidentally forgotten:

    - - - Updated - - - My previous posts may sound a little confusing. I'll clarify more: The 2 scenarios: ---------------------------------------------------- • I press the Start button -> Restart: The screen that says Restarting (with the dots spinning in a circle) takes 1 minute & 54 seconds to reach the BIOS Screen + BIOS screen to the idle Desktop screen about 35 seconds 1:54 + 0:35 = ~ 2 minutes 29 seconds ---------------------------------------------------- • I press the Start button -> Shut Down -> and press the physical Power button on the Desktop case: The screen that says Shutting Down (with the dots spinning in a circle) takes less than 5 seconds, and now there is no power going to the Desktop case at all + I push the physical Power button on the Desktop case, and the BIOS screen shows up. Takes about 35 seconds to reach the idle Desktop. 0:05 + 0:35 = ~ 40 seconds ---------------------------------------------------- Those are the two differences
