Windows 10: Hello need help as fast as possible because with microsoft defender it says i have a virus...

i recently installed a mod menu for gta online to have fun making modded cars and to do that you need to download scripts to your pc to have it like a google chrome extension way to add stuff to the mod menu but when i installed it windows defender detected a trojan named Trojan:Win64/Tnega!MSR it says it's still active i did multiple tests, full scans, fast scans on malwarebyte and windows defender for malwarebyte it detects nothing i already put to quarantine and deleted everything but for microsoft defender that Trojan:Win64/Tnega!MSR still shows up and when i try to delete or put it in qua

Microsoft Hello

Hi thanks for the suggestions.

My computer is running Norton anti virus software.

I have run the trouble shooter on hardware and devices and it didn't come up with anything. I have also checked that the camera is enabled for all apps.

When I turn on the computer (or after it has been sleeping) the windows hello screen comes up but it immediately says camera is not turned on and I need to log in using my pin - which works fine.

If I go into sign in options under tools, there is a message in red that says "Windows Hello is preventing some options from being shown," then further down it says that "Windows Hello isn't available on this device."

My Surface Pro is only a few months old and I have used face recognition for sign-in from new, up until yesterday when I installed the 2017-06 Windows update.

 

Microsoft Exclusion List for Anti-virus

Apparantly, Microsoft posted a list of files that can be "Excluded" from any Anti-Virus that you use to help with scanning performance.
