File Explorer Left Side Menu Missing

I was prompted to update today and I did. Now, when I open File Explorer, the menu tab on the left side of the file explorer window is missing the menu that listed the folders (documents, this PC, whatever external storage I had plugged into a USB port,
etc...) I want that menu back. How do I turn it back on when I didn't want it turned off in the first place?

 

Open with drop down menu ALWAYS opens to the left

Hello ,

please help resolve this annoying issue

When selecting a file and open with , there is a drop down menu that to my knowledge by default
open always to the right in Windows, but not if it too far right on the screen then it opens to the left .

But in my case even with enough space left or right , the drop down menu ALWAYS opens to the left.

How to fix so it opens normal way again

Hi Larry,

Follow these steps to change the font size in IE11:

• Click Start menu or press Windows key on your keyboard.
• Type and click Control Panel.
• Click Appearance and Personalization and under Display, click
  Make text other items larger or smaller.
• Under Change only the text size, choose the Title bars
  in the drop-down menu and the desired font size on the drop-down menu beside it.
