Windows 10: hello there! i need some help over here, i want to make a network between 2 computers

i was thinking to make my second pc as a sort of storage/backup space and im trying to make a network. i just want it to be possible that i can click on a folder and that i can alter the folders in the other pc from my main pc. (i hope this is clear my eng bad). i tried some things online but nothing works.

Hello, I am new here and want to be good but i need some help

Well I 'am a new member and after getting throne off of my Fav Forum
HP.com/supportforum IP Address And Account.
I want to make sure I don't get throne off of this forum too.
so I want to take the time to say who I' am and why I am here because I don't want to be banned.
So I have had some problems with computers and I have learned somethings and my goal is to help as many people as I can fix there computers; my other goal is to someday become a Moderator. now I am a member on the MS Community as and was on the HP Support Forum but that was short lasting.

So that's me now I have some questions about this forum
1: Why does my post need to be checked by a mod before I can post a reply;
is it because I' am new or just a thing on the 10forums?
2: How should I talk to people like when I go to reply what should I say?
like should I start with "Hello" or "Hello" (User) (The User's Name). because when I was on HP Forums I think that got me banned so I need to know what would be the most respectable.
3: This seems like a great forum and I want to be a part of it but
I am a little scared after HP Forums so if there are any certain main things that would get me banned please let me know; also if I do something wrong please let me know because I really don't want to be banned. I will try my best to be good here.
4: Is it ok I setup a account on the 8forums? or i' am only allowed to use one at a time

transfer files between computers on a home network

I don't know why this is so hard to do but I would like to transfer files between a desktop PC running windows 10 pro and a laptop running windows 10 home. I would like to transfer files in both directions. Both computers are on the same home network and are connected wirelessly.

Could some one provide either specific step by step instructions on how to do this (I googled and found a countless list of instructions that don't work)

or a link to a reference.

I don't know if this is possible but it would be nice to see the computer sending the desired file in the explorer file manager of the computer receiving the desired file and then under the computer see a list
of shared files and folders.

Again, this seems like such a reasonable way of sharing files and folders. Shouldn't there be a simple way to do this?
