Hello, When I attempt to download a video file from dropbox and frame.io play a video file in windows media player and also it is not playing on VLC, I receive the following error code "0x80004005." When the same file is played directly on dropbox and frame.io no problems encountered. How do I fix this?

Wont play video files

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• Where did you obtain the said editing software?
• What is the file extension of the videos you were trying to play?
• What application were you using to play these video files?
• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?

Adjust video size to their frames

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

1. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to this issue?
   
2. Which application are you using to view the video files?
   
3. What is the file format of that video file?
   
4. Are those video files saved on the PC locally?
   
5. Does this issue occur with all video files?
   

This issue can occur if some of the system files are not working as expected. They might be broken or damaged.

Step 1: Suggest you to use the
Windows Media Player to play the video file to check if that helps.

Step 2: Further, you may also want to
update the display driver from Device Manager to check if that makes any difference.
