    Hello, when i boot my pc it says to skip disk checking press any key within 8 seconds.


    When i press a key to skip this disk checking it freezes and never skips it.When i do let it run it never get to 100 percent and just stays on it for hours.When i boot my pc i press f11 repeatedly to get windows boot manager after i select boot manager it goes to disk checking and never opens boot manager.I had this problem for over 4 days now and nothing i read is working.Can anyone help with this?

    Windows will not update, and on startup it says Press any key in 10 seconds to skip disk checking.

    My Boot MBR recently got corrupted and I followed this tutorial on how to fix it:



    It worked great and my Windows 10 PC could now boot into Windows, but when I try to update and I restart my pc:

    It says Working On Updates and then after it gets to 100%, it says "We Couldn't Complete The Updates. Undoing Changes"

    Another thing is whenever I boot my pc it runs the disk checker:

    "Press any key in 10 seconds to skip disk checking"

    Even if I don't press any key it disk checks and next time I boot it the same thing happens.

    Specs:

    Ryzen 3 3200G

    XFX RX 580 8GB

    16GB DDR4 Vengeance RAM

    500GB SSD (Windows installed)

    500GB HDD

    Please help me, thanks.

    It took about 2 hours and it didnt find any problems.

    It no longer shows

    "To skip disk checking, press any key in # seconds"

    on startup anymore.

    im still getting dirty with

    fsutil dirty query c:

    Do you just have the one drive on your PC?

    When you say it is no longer are seeing the 'To skip disk checking . . .' is your Disk still being checked anyway?
