Windows 10: Help! Acrobat problem in Windows 11

I have Windows 11, Microsoft 365 for Business and Adobe Creative Cloud. CC informed me that Acrobat update failed, and advised me to uninstall Acrobat DC and reload the latest version. The uninstall didn't appear to work fully, although the files are gone, and I can't reload the program. Although Acrobat doesn't show up in the list of apps when I press the Start button, it still shows up in the list under Apps and Features, and it still shows up on Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app as installed although it will neither open nor uninstall. I want Adobe Acrobat Standard X to be my default not Reader

As per the description, Adobe Acrobat Standard X is not listed as a default app but it pops up listed as a "desktop app".

I suggest you to check the app in the Programs and features.
To do so follow the below steps.

1. Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl

If the application is not present in the Programs & Features
then Suggest you to download the app from the link.

choose the appropriate language under Acrobat X standard installer,
and download.
