  1. Help adding a new school organization

Hello, I am trying to add an organization for a new school account but I'm unable to leave my current organization previous school account. I've tried unsyncing my One Drive and forgetting my prior school's One Drive but that didn't work as well. I also keep getting this error message: 80192EE7 when I try to connect a new work or school account. Side note - I am trying to do this for both my PC and my Surface Pro.

    :)

  2. Help adding school account onto laptop

    Hi QuetzalUE,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Is there any error or prompt when you add your school account?

Normally, the steps to add a school or work account are as follows:

If you're using the same PC for both personal and school or business work, you may want to add various accounts to your PC to make it easier for you to get to the files, apps, and information associated with each account. When you access work or school, you'll be connected to your organization's domain and have access to its resources.

To add another account to your PC:

    1. Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school .
    2. Next to Add a work or school account, select Connect.
    3. Enter that person's account info, select the account type, and then select Add.
Add or remove accounts on your PC - Microsoft Support

I think that the case that can not be added is that the school account may need to be added in the school network environment or domain environment, which also needs attention. (You need to check with school staff)

If you have any questions, feel free to leave us a message.

    Best regards

Having trouble with "Some of these settings are managed by your organization"

    Hi Chaitanya4156,

The steps I have listed above are the only things that can cause the 'Organization' error in Windows, either awork or school account causes this, or a 3rd party anti-virus, or those commands should solve this, the only other thing I can suggest is to create a new user account in Windows and move all your data to that account.

Adding a new user to a Work or School PC and logging in

Hi MH. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Is this your personal PC that you have added a Work or School account onto, do you already have a personal account on it?

The problem with doing this is that once you connect to the school or work account, it imposes the organization's Group Policy onto your personal PC so that you may no longer be able to use it without constant restrictions.

Until you remove the account, you need to discuss this with your school or job's IT desk as they have effective control over your PC. They will almost never alter the Group Policy since it likely applies to the organization's entire fleet of PC's and users.

We also do not support these organization accounts here except to extricate yourself from them. The reason for this is that this is strictly an end-consumer forums and any advice we give you here will very likely conflict with the organization's Group Policy and render it useless. So you need to get help from your organizaiton, or you can ask at our sister forums for IT Professionals, Q&A forums here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/answers/index.... as Microsoft Community is strictly an end-consumer forum.

There are also equally good (and sometimes busier) IT Pro forums here:

To remove the work or school account go into Settings > Accounts > Access Work & School, right click to Disconnect, then Remove the account:

What I would do if you must have this account on your PC is shrink C and install a personal or work copy of Windows in a Dual Boot so that your personal install will not be affected. The steps here will also work to Dual boot Windows 10 with itself: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2108-windows...

It should activate both but if not all you'd lose on one side is to personalize Windows with backgrounds, etc, nothing more.

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
