Windows 10: Help/Additional info just takes me to Windows Home

Greetings all:


Within Windows 10, there are many instances where you can select "Help" or "Additional Info" and by selecting it, I would expect to be taken to the specific topic. However, I am simply taken to the Windows Support start page. The one where Windows makes me some offer to buy something. From that page I can go through searching for what I was seeking more information.


It has been this way for as long as I can remember. I've always attributed it to "Such is Microsoft". But I have to ask, is this normal? I do see the data I'm looking for in the URL sent up.


Here is a for instance: I ran chkdsk, and was not real satisfied with the information provided in the Event Viewer, so I selected "More Information: Event Log Online Help" Right to the Support Home where I have to manually search for the informationor buy a Microsoft Office product.


This was sent up in the URL:

So, can I fix this? Or is this "normal"?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Transfer file list with additional info to excel

OK, yes now in Q-dir I can get the additional columns from the list. But exporting works correctly only for the visible lines of the list. Date and image size is blank för the reminder of the list. Or is there some setting somewhere that could correct this?
Tried to print to .pdf but in the resulting file there are no tabs or other divider between columns. Spaces yes but not very helpful.

I repeat; I suggest Microsoft includes an export list possibility in Explorer at earliest convienence.

GPUz Incorrect Info GF117

I've got the GT620M in a Zenbook and the newest version of GPUz has it listed as a 40nm part whereas all other info on the web suggests its 28nm. Can you investigate, W1z?
