    HELP: Automatic repair; Log File...

On August 17, 2020, we called Microsoft support about the issues and calls were disconnected 3 times before someone could try to help about the automatic repairs spent more than 2 hours, etc. They told us to shut down pc 3 times and then try start repairs, then gave us command prompt chkdsk C: /f /r which took hours to run and told us to take device to local Microsoft store so they could view it in our area which is hours away, also gave telephone number.

In the mean time, pc was on for two days when we called the Microsoft store, got recording saying all stores closed due to Covid19 and then connected us back to same Microsoft support. When we was finally able to get someone, we were trying to explain what happened then later we never heard the guy talking again, it was very disappointing and the screen has been on since August 17, 2020 with the information about command prompt on the black screen with the results listed.

This issue started August 1, 2020 and haven't been solved yet...have Windows 10 with blue screen in automatic repair mode LOOP but not blue screen of death...on Toshiba computer, started after uninstalling and reinstalling audio driver from Microsoft due to Google voice, gmail, and hangouts audio not working for 3 days in July 2020...unable to get SAFE MODE to activate and there is a box that's flashing on screen real fast between automatic repair screen and diagnostic repair screen...there are no virus, etc on computer. There are zero bad sectors listed.

There is no Windows CD that we have since original version was Windows 7 then upgraded to Win8 and been having Windows 10 for awhile now and we do not have access to another computer so we can do Windows 10 Disc Image ISO file. We want to keep all files and apps and computer will not even allow us to delete or remove anything at all which is good since we need those things, we took pictures of the screens since this happened so we can tell someone what is happening. IF someone could tell us how to get information from screen so we could upload to page then you could see the information listed in command prompt...Need assistance ASAP!!

    Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

  3. Automatic Repair Loop

    Hi Charlene,

Your concern regarding the device going into an Automatic Repair Loop can be caused by change on its settings/configuration or broken system files. To effectively assist you with your concern, can confirm if you've made any changes on your device prior to
    your concern?

As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.

We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.
