Windows 10: help center opens automatically when I press ctrl button in any application I use. How to...

Whenever I press Ctrl button, it opens Help center in apps. I tried to copy my text in Excel or Word. So, I tried to press Ctrl+C. But, as soon as I press ctrl button, it opens help center automatically and I am not able to perform my work. How can I fix this?I am not able to use Ctrl key for any application in my computer. Even in Chrome I tried to copy anything, I pressed ctrl key, it opens Help Center in next tab automatically.

Zippy! basically either holds keys/mouse buttons or pushes them rapidly. It is very useful in games like Minecraft where you have to hold a key frequently in order to perform an action.





On/Off Key: When pressed, activates and deactivates the selected profile.

Profile Up Key: When pressed, selects the next profile. If "On" it will automatically deactivate previous and activate the newly selected profile.

Profile Down Key: When pressed, selects the previous profile. If "On" it will automatically deactivate previous and activate the newly selected profile.

Start in Tray: When checked, will automatically hide Zippy! in the system tray.

Add/Remove Profile: Adds or removes a profile. All actions under a single profile will be activated when the profile is activated.

Add Row: Adds a row to the selected row.

To delete a row, click on the row in the left-most column (where the arrow is) and then hit the delete key.

Device & Key/Button Name: Double click on either column to bring up the "Get Input" dialog. Press the key or click the mouse button you want to use in box (key doesn't have to be in box but mouse does) to assign it.

Delay: 0 is the same as holding a key down. Any number greater than 0 causes a cycling pattern. For example, if it is 5000, it will press and release the key, wait 5 seconds, press and release the key, wait 5 seconds, press and release the key, etc.


It saves/loads all settings when opening/closing the application.

• Is this issue specific only to the tiles?

Please be informed that there may be no option to disable the Ctrl + Scroll functionality.

I suggest you to retry to scroll the mouse in both ways by pressing Ctrl key + scroll (Mouse) and check.

If the issue is specific to the Windows Start screen tiles then, I suggest you to follow the below steps to resize the applications on the Start screen.

• Click on the Start button to open the Start screen.
• Right click on the Application which you want to resize.
• Select the Resize option from the list and try the options available.

Note: Not all the applications can have a Resize option and it varies to a particular applications.

In regard to your DVD Rom drive - go to -control panel/device manager/DVD/CD-ROM drives -make a note of the make and model number Example: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-215D ATA Device - highlight the device you have installed -press right mouse button-select properties-details-property and select Install Date from the drop down list and let us know this.
