help! computer stops responding for no reason

Im not even doing much on my laptop i've restarted it about 5 times now, and even when it is loading up the screen it stops responding, this is getting to be very annoying, I can't even watch videos or play minecraft, nonetheless even try and type because like every 10 or 5 or 2 minutes it stops responding for a minute. Windows 10 also wants me to update again after i just finished installing an update that was plaguing my computer for about a month and there was no way out of it. i checked task manager and cortana eats alot, but it says 50 memory and 80 disk and 50 cpu. it just freezes for a second and i have to wait until its done. this is so annoying please *Mad*Mad*Mad*Mad

    :)
